Privacy Policy

Blipcall is built so that we know as little about you as technically possible. There are no accounts, we never see or store the audio of your calls, and every call link — along with the little data attached to it — deletes itself automatically when it expires.

No names, no email addresses, no phone numbers, no contact lists, no user accounts, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party analytics or tracking cookies.

Calls are peer-to-peer WebRTC, encrypted end-to-end with DTLS-SRTP. Audio never touches our application servers in decryptable form. When a direct connection isn't possible, an encrypted media relay (TURN) forwards packets it cannot decrypt. We do not record, store, transcribe, or analyze call audio — ever. The optional voice-mask effect runs entirely on your device.

Each call shows both parties a short emoji verification code derived from the encryption fingerprints, so you can confirm no one is intercepting the call.

A call link stores: its purpose preset, the optional label you typed, its creation time, and expiry. This lives in an in-memory store and is deleted automatically at expiry. We keep IP-based rate-limit counters (to prevent abuse) that expire within about an hour, and standard web-server logs (IP address, request path, status code) kept briefly for security and debugging. Media-relay servers see the IP addresses of call participants — as does any internet service — but not the content of calls.

Your language preference and, while you have a link open, that link's connection details are stored in your browser's local/session storage. This data stays on your device and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings. We set no tracking cookies.

The web app loads the Sarabun font from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests it from Google's servers (Google may see your IP address and user agent). No other third-party services receive any data.

Blipcall is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
